OTG Off-Duty Carry is an 8 hour, 1 day course and is meant to provide officers with the skills to effectively utilize their off-duty carry firearm. Officers spend most of their training time becoming proficient with their duty firearm in their duty holster. However, if asked to respond to an incident when not in uniform, officers must still be able to exercise the same level of proficiency with their off-duty carry sidearm. This course is also extremely pertinent to plain-clothed Detectives and Narcotics Officers.
This is a live-fire class and is meant to be run from concealment.
